We are a small, family-owned business that is a local source for liquidation pallets and individual items, with a focus on customer service. We are a husband and wife team that devotes our energy to our family and operating the best small liquidation company that we can. Prior to starting this business we have a combined 35 years of experience working for large corporations with positions in internal audit, finance and IT. We began our reselling journey in 2014 as a part-time, work from home business. Over the years we gained knowledge about the liquidation industry and the desire to expand our business. We began buying truckloads of liquidation merchandise and selling pallets to other resellers in 2019. Our goal is to continue learning and advancing our business while enjoying everyday.
We want you to be completely happy with your experience, 5 stars is our goal. We value your business!
On Tuesday each week we communicate on our Facebook page, group and email list our open to the public walk-in hours to view and purchase liquidation pallets and individual items at our warehouse. These posts account for holidays and vacation time. We also list our inbound truckloads and types of pallets that we have available. A video from our warehouse is included with this post each Tuesday. When you arrive at our warehouse during open hours you will be given a marker. To select a pallet to buy you write your name on the buyer name line with the marker you were given by a member of our staff and pull the yellow tag to take to check out with you. The pallets that are available will have the price tags towards the isle and you will be able to write your name on the tag. The other pallets are used to restock the sales floor for our next sales session. You must buy the entire pallet.
The prices per pallet typically range from about $300 to $600. Discounts are available when 6 or more pallets are purchased. All of the pallets that are for sale have price tags on them, a brief description of what type of pallet that they are and they are color coded by type to help you find what you are interested in.

A great pallet for one aspiring or experienced reseller may be a bad pallet for another, and the selection of available pallets may be overwhelming because of the factors that will be discussed below. Several factors affect a reseller’s ability to make an acceptable profit. Some examples are their experience with the various sales channels or willingness to learn to use them, knowledge of the items available on the pallets, ability to resolve or effectively disclose issues with the items, ability to or willingness to learn to take good pictures and create listings that sell, knowing one’s risk tolerance and finally treating reselling inventory from pallets like a business in order to be organized, consistent and able to track profitability. Now the more common types of liquidation pallets available will be discussed to help you with making purchase decisions.
Am@zon Liquidation Pallets
The most common types of Am@zon liquidation pallets are called high count smalls, mediums and large/bulk mech-lift. The difference refers to the size of the items on the pallets and determines the piece count. The smaller the items the more that can fit on the pallet and the larger the items the less that can fit. The pallets can be manifested or unmanifested so prices and the total retail value of the items in each pallet can vary significantly. The defect rate will vary from pallet to pallet and could be because the item was returned with missing parts, damaged in a warehouse, damaged during shipping and now has a dent, box damage only or is brand new. The pallets can contain a wide variety of products because they can be anything that is sold on Am@zon. It is possible to get items that you are not familiar with since Am@zon sells over 300 million different items.
S@m’s Club Liquidation Pallets
The most common type of S@m’s Club liquidation pallets are general merchandise and clothing, shoes & domestics. The general merchandise pallets are usually manifested and can contain any item that S@m’s Club sells. They will have returns, overstock and shelf-pulls. The clothing, shoes & domestics pallets are usually unmanifested. Both types of S@m’s Club pallets are generally considered to be some of the cleanest or low defect rate pallets on the market with a large portion of the items being Dot Com Returns, overstock and shelf-pulls. These pallets will have items that are currently in S@m’s Club stores/in season because there is short lead time from S@m’s Club to the pallet sales floor, so they may also contain seasonal or holiday type of items.
W@lmart Liquidation Pallets
The most common types of W@lmart liquidation pallets are called in-store returns and dot com returns. In-store liquidation pallets usually tend to have a higher defect rate than the dot com liquidation pallets. Since they sell over 75 million products their pallets could include a large variety of items just like the Am@zon pallets, however, the items on the pallets are usually grouped by category more than on the Am@zon pallets. The sizes of the items will vary from one pallet to the next as well as the item count. The defect rate will vary from pallet to pallet and could be because the item was assembled wrong then returned, part of a multiple box set and missing a box, damaged by a forklift, damaged by a customer in a store or is still factory sealed. The pallets can be manifested or unmanifested and prices can vary significantly.
T@rget Liquidation Pallets
The most common types of T@rget liquidation pallets are general merchandise, furniture and case-pack pallets. The general merchandise pallets are usually unmanifested and can contain any item that T@rget sells. Typically, they are a mix of soft goods, furniture and hard goods. They will have returns and shelf-pulls, but these are generally considered to be some of the cleanest or low defect rate pallets on the market with a large portion of the items being shelf-pulls. The T@rget furniture pallets are mostly furniture and are known for being clean pallets. They are usually manifested. The T@rget case-pack pallets consist of all brand new case-packed merchandise. So they will have many repeated items. A risk to these pallets is that there could be less desirable items on them, however, the defect rate should be very low or zero.
Home Dep0t Liquidation Pallets
Several different types of Home Dep0t liquidation pallets are available. This is because of the many different programs that Home Dep0t offers by the truckload. Most pallets are unmanifested. These pallets can contain products from a single category, a few categories, or a mix of all categories of products that Home Dep0t sells in their stores and online. Some examples of the categories are small appliances, home decor, hardware, tools, outdoor, lighting and kitchen & bath. Because of this, the item count can vary from just a few items on a pallet to several hundred items. The defect rate will vary from pallet to pallet and could be because the item was used once for job then returned, purchased then the buyer realized it is not the right item for the job, a working small appliance with a dent in the side, bought to take a needed part then returned or was liquidated as overstock.
How To Make Your Purchase Decision
There are many other types of pallets available in liquidation warehouses across the country, but the ones discussed above are the most common types. There are also many liquidation companies that will sell you pallets. Many of them are very reputable companies and we encourage you to shop around, and many are not reputable and will scam you. There are also people impersonating our company and other liquidation companies by using similar names, using photos and videos that are not theirs for use online to try to get people to pay them online. Please, please research all companies before you pay them online to have a pallet, mystery box or any other liquidation item shipped or delivered to you. We want to distance our company from that bad behavior as much as possible. Our pallets are only available for local pickup from our warehouse and we only take payment in person at our warehouse. We encourage you to research us as well and please let us know if you have any questions. Five factors to consider before purchasing a pallet will be discussed below.
Size
You need to decide the size of the items that you are going to resell. This is a very important consideration because it will determine how and where you are going to resell your items. If you are buying pallets with large, heavy items you will usually have to focus on local sales to avoid shipping costs and if you are buying pallets with small items that you can ship you may decide to focus more on e-commerce. If you have a store, sell at flea markets or auction items then consider the size of item that will be best.
Sales Channels
An important decision for a reseller to make is how and where you are going to sell your merchandise. This decision should be made before you go shopping for a pallet because it will determine which pallets you should be looking at. If your focus is e-commerce platforms like eBay, Mercari or Facebook e-commerce you may want to look for pallets that have a lot of the same and smaller items. This will save you time when listing because you don't have to list each item separately and shipping should be cost effective. If your focus is going to be on local internet sales such as Facebook Marketplace, Next Door App or Craigslist then you may want to find medium or larger items so that when you are meeting with people to make a sale the value of the product is high enough to be worth the time that you invest in meeting each person. Also, those same items may not be the cost effective to ship. If you plan on selling through face-to-face sales such as at a retail store, a flea market, a swap meet, or events then you may want to look for items that fit your brand and work well for impulse purchases. Auctions houses usually do well with medium to larger items and they tend to focus more on higher value items with a lower piece count.
Knowledge
Another factor to consider when choosing a liquidation pallet to buy is considering which products that you are knowledgeable about. Some resellers are very knowledgeable of or want to be knowledgeable about specific types of items so it's common for them to specialize in a certain niche. Some resellers choose products to focus on because they are mechanically inclined and can fix certain or many types of items. With that being said you will get items on pallets that do not fit into one of the above 2 categories, so those items will be an opportunity for you to learn and grow as a reseller. Also, it is important to have or get an understanding of the type of products that sell well for you as this will vary by sales channel and location.
Risk Tolerance
Getting defective items on liquidation pallets is going to happen in this business, so it's better to be prepared for it ahead of time. It is important that you understand what your tolerance is for defective items and how you are going to deal with them. That way you can make your decisions about your pallet purchases accordingly. Will you fix items, buy missing parts, disclose defects and sell items that are not in new condition, or will you throw them away? The goal is to do the first three as much as possible and the fourth as little as possible to maximize profit. The percentage of the retail value of the items on the pallet that you pay for the pallet will vary from pallet to pallet. Manifested pallets may not be accurate, are provided by the big box store and are sold to you “As Is”, so they should only be used as a guide. Since the items on the pallets have been liquidated for many different reasons the condition of the items will vary from brand new to broken and new to used. Finally, all pallet sales are final once the pallet leaves the warehouse so, please address any concerns prior to purchasing your pallet. To remove as much risk as possible please look at the items on the pallet, try to find the items you are concerned with, look up items and check the condition of the boxes but please take care not to damage any items in the process.
Conclusion
The concepts and examples given in this write-up are not all inclusive, but hopefully provided you with some useful information. We are a small, family business and my wife and I are upfront and honest about the products that we sell, the work involved to make money reselling the inventory we offer, and we truly want you to be successful. We published this write-up, have a large sign hanging in our warehouse, put disclosures on our manifests, price tags, tip sheets and by checkout to try to make sure everyone who buys a liquidation pallet is informed and has reasonable expectations. Buying pallets and reselling is work. Many people find it to be enjoyable work, fair profit for the work done, flexible hours, etc. Sometimes it gets positioned as easy money, hitting it big on the one item found in a pallet or other things like that, but you will not hear us say that as we know it is work. We will answer any question that you have to the best of our ability in hopes to help you gain knowledge and accomplish your goals over time. We want to build long term business relationships with our customers. Ultimately it is up to you, our customer, what pallet you buy or choose not to buy as we are no pressure and welcome you to just come look around if that is what works for you.
